You may be concerned about the privacy and confidentiality of personal information, including credit card and billing address information. Bodas have taken many precautions to ensure that this information is safe and secure.

For the most part, people who access our site will be simply viewing materials we've prepared and made accessible to everyone and there is no need therefore for these pages to be protected by either encryption or password (secure). There are two exceptions to this, namely the Your Account area and the Checkout area.

Once you have registered with us, your online account information is protected by a password chosen by you. Access to that online account requires your username and password. While no data transmission over the Internet can be 100% secure, upon receiving your transmission, we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure it's security on our servers. It is then down to you to maintain the secrecy of your username and password and/or account information and we therefore recommend that you do not disclose this information to any other person.

All transactions processed by Bodas are protected using technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which is the industry standard security protocol that the Bodas site uses to communicate with secure browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape. If your browser is capable of SSL, your sensitive information will automatically be encrypted before being sent over the Internet. (You don't however have to know in advance whether your browser does support secure transactions- if it doesn't you will not be able to complete the checkout process and the transaction will be cancelled automatically). All SSL capable browsers have a symbol (either a closed lock or a key) which indicates secure mode. In addition, you will be able to tell when you are in a secure area by the URL appearing in the address bar, which will change from HTTP to HTTPS.

Your payment details are held in an encrypted format until we process your order. All orders are processed on computers that are not connected to the Internet.

If you are still not convinced about the safety of shopping online, but would like to order from Bodas, please call the store on +44(0)207 727 5036 and place your order over the phone. We are open 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
